What will you do?

As the Regulatory Compliance Manager within the business, you will be instrumental in managing the regulatory compliance function of the business, with the support and guidance of the Chief Legal Officer.

As an expert in your job, your guidance will be highly sought after, particularly from a proactive perspective to ensure the business is ready and prepared for the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.

You will review and assess and develop (where necessary) operational practices, enforce, and create compliance plans & procedures, uphold a compliance-focused approach throughout all departments within the business through regular training, auditing, and discussions surrounding best practices, protocols, and regulatory developments.

As the expert in regulatory compliance, you will regularly interface with authorities and your inquisitive nature, clear and precise communication skills, and solution-oriented mindset will be critical to the success of the business.

What is your background?

  • You have significant expertise (min. 5 years )  in either the payments /and/or banking regulatory compliance field
  • Ideally, you  currently hold or have previously held the MFSA PQ in this capacity
  • You are an effective and clear communicator, able to navigate complex discussions and directives and break them down in effective and actionable steps
  • You have a keen eye of detail and research, able to effectively interpret regulations (with external assistance where appropriate ) to ensure full compliance

Salary Guideline: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications + benefits (private health insurance, sports allowance, training & development courses)
