Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, you will :
- Lead and contribute to regulatory compliance advisory projects, including the carrying out of process audits, gap analysis, simulated on-site inspections, the drafting and/or review of policies and procedures, the drafting and/or review of staff manuals, assistance with the drawing up and implementation of remediation plans and providing ongoing technical and operational assistance to MLROs and Compliance Officers.
- Assist clients with the drawing up and updating of risk assessments
- Conduct internal and external reviews of the adequacy of policies and procedures and their implementation
- Draw up reports and remediation plans.
- Conduct and contribute to the coordination of regulatory examinations.
- Participation in both short and long-term client compliance projects
What is your background?
- Minimum 3 years experience in regulatory compliance within the Maltese financial services sector with reference to banking & payments / investment services clusters
- Exposure to / understanding of anti-financial crime compliance is a distinct advantage
- Maltese Language Fluency would be a distinct advantage
- Clear and concise communication skills
Salary: 40-55,000Euros annual gross salary, depending on experience & qualifications
