You’ll work directly with the Chief Legal Officer, shaping how the business handles commercial agreements, payments law, and financial regulation.
This is a newly created role, giving you the chance to shape it from the ground up.
You’ll have co-ownership ( alongside the CLO ) over contracts, regulatory queries, and external counsel relationships—plus access to mentoring, high-level projects, and visibility across the business.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll manage a variety of commercial agreements and legal matters across payments and financial services. That includes reviewing and negotiating contracts, overseeing legal risk, and collaborating with teams across compliance, finance, and product.
You’ll also handle regulatory inquiries, manage external counsel, and work with the CLO to align legal strategies with broader commercial goals.
What you’ll bring :
- Qualified lawyer licensed to practice in an EU jurisdiction
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in commercial, fintech, payments, or financial services law (in-house or top-tier firm)
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, with an interest in payments regulation and EU financial law
