Our client is a licensed E-Money and Payments institution in Malta, looking for a Head of Risk Management to join their team in Malta.
You will be instrumental in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring the effective identification, assessment, monitoring,g and mitigation of all material risks in line with regulatory expectations and the Institution’s risk appetite.

Essential requirements:
- Degree in risk management, finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management within regulated financial institutions
- Strong understanding of MFSA, EBA, PSD2, AML/CFT, and operational resilience requirements
- Experience with enterprise risk frameworks and board-level reporting
- Strong analytical skills, independence, and professional judgment
- Prior PQ by the MFSA in a comparable role within a licensed financial institution is strongly preferred
