Our client is a legacy business within the upmarket consumer goods sector in Malta and they are looking for a General Manager to join their team and work closely with the Director to gain the necessary knowledge, guidance, and training to take ownership of the business’s 10 retail stores across the island.
You will be instrumental in ensuring brand consistency across their shops and you will have direct responsibility over the employees within the retail space, ensuring adequate training needs, product knowledge & customer service skills.
As a retail expert, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to devise and enhance campaigns to continuously attract customers, set up yearly plans & manage suppliers.

Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple retail shops in Malta / Gozo
- Minimum 3 years experience at a Managerial level in the sector
- Fluent in English. Maltese fluency would be a distinct advantage
- Experience in personal care consumer goods
- Excellent planning skills, with the ability to work closely with cross functional teams to achieve results
Salary: Negotiable, depending on skills & experience + private health insurance +training support + car allowance
