Our client in Malta’s Central Region is transforming their entire finance function, and they need a sharp, motivated Finance Manager, to work alongside the Head of Finance and drive the project forward.

Working directly with a driven Head of Finance who is genuinely invested in your success, you’ll pivot from a purely technical role into a managerial function.

Your Impact:
- Ownership: You’ll lead the finance team with autonomy to review current processes, identify where they can improve, and implement those changes.
- The Basics: You’ll take charge of management accounts, VAT preparation, and the audit process, but always with an eye toward automation and efficiency.
- The Future: You’ll have a seat at the table for budgeting and forecasting, helping shape the financial direction of an established group.
What you bring to the table:
- The Credentials: You’re a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CPA/ Equivalent)
- The Knowledge: You know the financial compliance obligations of Maltese businesses (VAT, Tax, Audit) inside out, and you have solid hands-on experience in preparing statutory and management accounts ( 3yrs+)
- The Mindset: You’re ready to manage people and influence the "why" behind the numbers.
- The Language: Fluency in Maltese is an asset. English proficiency is mandatory.
The Package:
- Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 (gross) depending on experience
- Extras: Performance bonus + professional membership support
- Location: Central Region. It’s an on-site role because the best collaboration happens in the room, with flexible start/finish times
