Your work will focus on the following key areas:
- Management Accounting: Prepare, analyze, and present timely and accurate management accounts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Financial Consolidation: Actively assist in the consolidation process with a clear goal of achieving complete proficiency and owning the process over time
- Collaborative Reporting: Work in close partnership with the Head of Finance on critical projects related to financial reporting, controls, and policy development.
- Team Support & Learning: Contribute to the success of the team through active mentoring and guidance on technical areas, fostering a culture of shared success and continuous learning.
- Statutory Compliance: Oversee and manage the accurate and timely submission of local statutory requirements, including Malta VAT, Tax, and Payroll.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional dedicated to technical excellence and long-term career growth:
- Professional Status: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) or a near-qualified candidate actively pursuing final examinations.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a moderately complex finance function
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrable proficiency and practical experience in management accounting.
- Exposure to group consolidations
- Hands-on experience managing local compliance, specifically Malta VAT, Tax, and Payroll.
- Soft Skills: High level of professional curiosity, a dedication to excellence, and a strong collaborative mindset are essential for a team-first culture.
